The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.106.34

इयमस्मि वधूः कान्ता भर्ता त्वं मे पुरःस्थितः ।
गृहाण काम मामेहि कालोऽयं तव हृच्छयः ॥ ३४ ॥

iyamasmi vadhūḥ kāntā bhartā tvaṃ me puraḥsthitaḥ |
gṛhāṇa kāma māmehi kālo'yaṃ tava hṛcchayaḥ || 34 ||

Here am I as a lovely bride, said she to herself, and there is my husband in my presence; I must ask him to accept my hand, nor is this time to be slipped from hand.
