The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.61.14

स्फुरत्यम्भो द्रवत्वेन यथावर्तविवर्तनैः ।
यथा स्वप्नात्मिकैवेयं सर्गलक्ष्मीर्न वास्तवी ॥ १४ ॥

sphuratyambho dravatvena yathāvartavivartanaiḥ |
yathā svapnātmikaiveyaṃ sargalakṣmīrna vāstavī || 14 ||

As the backward and forward whirling motion of water, makes the deep to swell, and as also fairy comes near in a dream, so all these are in reality nothing.
