The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जीवन्नेव महाबाहो तत्त्वं प्रेक्ष यथास्थितम् ।
वासनावागुरोन्मुक्तो मुक्त इत्यभिधीयते ॥ ४३ ॥

jīvanneva mahābāho tattvaṃ prekṣa yathāsthitam |
vāsanāvāguronmukto mukta ityabhidhīyate || 43 ||

Living in this manner (or self-independence), you must always look to and be in search of truth; and being released from the snare of worldly cares, you are said to be liberated in this life.
