The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनायत्तमसंकल्पमात्मरूपं यदव्ययम् ।
प्रबोधाद्वासनामुक्तं तन्मोक्षं विद्धि भारत ॥ ४२ ॥

anāyattamasaṃkalpamātmarūpaṃ yadavyayam |
prabodhādvāsanāmuktaṃ tanmokṣaṃ viddhi bhārata || 42 ||

The soul that is self-same with itself, and unaltered in all circumstances; that is never subject to body or any desire on earth, but is freed from all desires by its own discretion, is said to be liberated in this life.
