The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.28.17

देहो देहविधौ सत्यो ह्यसत्य इतरद्विधौ ।
प्रतिभासविधौ तावज्जलं सदसदन्यदा ॥ १७ ॥

deho dehavidhau satyo hyasatya itaradvidhau |
pratibhāsavidhau tāvajjalaṃ sadasadanyadā || 17 ||

The body seems to be substantiality in the doing of bodily actions, but it proves otherwise when we view the essentiality of the spirit only; so the reflection of the sun on the sandy desert, makes the mirage appear as water, whose reality proves to be unreal the next moment:
