दिनान्ते स समाधातुं पुनरेव मनो मुनिः ।
विवेश कांचिद्विततां विज्ञातां विन्ध्यकन्दराम् ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
dinānte sa samādhātuṃ punareva mano muniḥ |
viveśa kāṃcidvitatāṃ vijñātāṃ vindhyakandarām || 1 ||

Vasishtha resumed:—The muni thought again to resume his accustomed meditation, and entered a spacious cave in the Vindhya at the end of the day.
