The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कालानिलबलोद्धूताज्जर्जराज्जीवितद्रुमात् ।
भोगपुष्पाणि दिवसपर्णानि निपतन्त्यधः ॥ २५ ॥
kālānilabaloddhūtājjarjarājjīvitadrumāt |
bhogapuṣpāṇi divasaparṇāni nipatantyadhaḥ || 25 ||
The old and time worn tree of the aged body, is overpowered by the force of the blasts of time; which blast its leaves and flowers (like human hopes) below, and then buries them all underneath the ground.
