The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.65.4

अत्रैवोदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् ।
संवादं सुहृदो सह्यसानौ भासविलासयोः ॥ ४ ॥

atraivodāharantīmamitihāsaṃ purātanam |
saṃvādaṃ suhṛdo sahyasānau bhāsavilāsayoḥ || 4 ||

Here will I recite an old story, containing a discourse between two friends Bhasa and Vilasa, in some region of the Sahya mountain.
