The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देशकालक्रियाकारैर्यथाप्राप्तासु दृष्टिषु ।
प्रकृतं कार्यमातिष्ठ त्यक्त्वा मानसमास्स्व भो ॥ ३४ ॥

deśakālakriyākārairyathāprāptāsu dṛṣṭiṣu |
prakṛtaṃ kāryamātiṣṭha tyaktvā mānasamāssva bho || 34 ||

Conduct yourself in your proper course at all events, which may occur to you at any time or place;and never allow yourself to be led astray, by the caprice of your mind or the freaks of fancy.
