The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.41.35

अतिदेहतयेदंताममतापरिवर्जितम् ।
भावाभावे समं कार्यं कुर्वन्निह न बाध्यसे ॥ ३५ ॥

atidehatayedaṃtāmamatāparivarjitam |
bhāvābhāve samaṃ kāryaṃ kurvanniha na bādhyase || 35 ||

Keep in mind your spiritual being, and abandon your egoism and selfish views altogether; and then by managing your affairs in one even tenor, both in your want and prosperity, you will evade all the vicissitudes of fortune.
