The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ईहितानीहिताकाराः कलनामृगतृष्णिकाः ।
सत्यावबोधमेधेन यस्य शान्ताः स जीवति ॥ ११० ॥

īhitānīhitākārāḥ kalanāmṛgatṛṣṇikāḥ |
satyāvabodhamedhena yasya śāntāḥ sa jīvati || 110 ||

He is said to be really alive who lives true to nature, and the mirage of whose desires and aversion, is suppressed like the fumes of his fancy, by the rising cloud of his knowledge of truth.
