The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.59.38

तमासाद्य तदाभासे पदे गलितमानसे ।
सुखं तिष्ठति शान्तात्मा तल्पेऽधः श्रमवानिव ॥ ३८ ॥

tamāsādya tadābhāse pade galitamānase |
sukhaṃ tiṣṭhati śāntātmā talpe'dhaḥ śramavāniva || 38 ||

By knowing the spirit, his mind was melted down by its effulgence, and reclined on it with that ease, as one finds in his soft sleep after long labour.
