The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ज्ञस्यास्थैर्यमसत्यं च जगद्राम न तुष्टये ।
अभुक्तेऽपि विषा यैषा विषमूर्च्छां प्रयच्छति ॥ १० ॥

jñasyāsthairyamasatyaṃ ca jagadrāma na tuṣṭaye |
abhukte'pi viṣā yaiṣā viṣamūrcchāṃ prayacchati || 10 ||

Wise men take no delight in this unreal and unstable world, which is more poisonous than poison itself, by infecting them that have not even tasted the bitter gall.
