The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.10.23

स उपेत्य महाबाहो कुपितं तं महामुनिम् ।
कल्पक्षुब्धाब्धिगम्भीरं सान्त्वपूर्वमुवाच ह ॥ २३ ॥

sa upetya mahābāho kupitaṃ taṃ mahāmunim |
kalpakṣubdhābdhigambhīraṃ sāntvapūrvamuvāca ha || 23 ||

Having appeared before the great sage, who was enraged as the raging sea, he soothed him to calmness as after a storm, by the gentle breath of his speech.
