The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तिष्ठतस्तव कार्येषु मास्तु रागेषु रञ्जना ।
स्फटिकस्येव चित्राणि प्रतिबिम्बानि गृह्णतः ॥ ७६ ॥

tiṣṭhatastava kāryeṣu māstu rāgeṣu rañjanā |
sphaṭikasyeva citrāṇi pratibimbāni gṛhṇataḥ || 76 ||

Employ thy mind to thy duties, without being tarnished by thy attachment to any; but remain as the unsullied crystal, receiving the reflections of outward objects, without being stained by any.
