The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अरूपया निराकृत्या चारुचेतनहीनया ।
असत्येवाप्यनश्यन्त्या चित्रमन्धीकृतं जगत् ॥ ५७ ॥

arūpayā nirākṛtyā cārucetanahīnayā |
asatyevāpyanaśyantyā citramandhīkṛtaṃ jagat || 57 ||

It is strange that something without form or figure, without sense or understanding, and which is unreal and vanishing, should so blindfold the world.
