The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अङ्गे निरम्बरे सोढा मृत्युमुक्ता इवेषवः ।
जराजरठमूढेन मूलानि क्षीणभूरुहाम् ॥ १९ ॥

aṅge nirambare soḍhā mṛtyumuktā iveṣavaḥ |
jarājaraṭhamūḍhena mūlāni kṣīṇabhūruhām || 19 ||

I felt on my naked body the iron shafts of rain, as darts let fly from the bow of death; and in my sickly and decrepit old age, I had to live upon the roots of withered vegetables.
