The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवंरूपनिजाचारः सोऽवलोक्य चिरं मया ।
अवष्टभ्य बलादेव मुहूर्तं रोधितः पथि ॥ १९ ॥

evaṃrūpanijācāraḥ so'valokya ciraṃ mayā |
avaṣṭabhya balādeva muhūrtaṃ rodhitaḥ pathi || 19 ||

I beheld him going on in this way for a long time, and then I with all my force, rushed forward and stopped him in his way.
