The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्षिप्रमाकारशब्दाभ्यां मायया सन्मुखीभव ।
न किंचिद्दीर्घसूत्राणां सिद्ध्यत्यात्मक्षयादृते ॥ ८ ॥

kṣipramākāraśabdābhyāṃ māyayā sanmukhībhava |
na kiṃciddīrghasūtrāṇāṃ siddhyatyātmakṣayādṛte || 8 ||

Now measure thy body according to thy speech (i. e. let them conform with one another,) and confront thyself to us without delay;because the dilatory gain no good, save the loss of their time.
