The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आसीदिक्ष्वाकुवंशोत्थो राजा राजीवलोचनः ।
श्रीमान्कुन्दरथो नाम दोश्छायाच्छादितावनिः ॥ १५ ॥

āsīdikṣvākuvaṃśottho rājā rājīvalocanaḥ |
śrīmānkundaratho nāma dośchāyācchāditāvaniḥ || 15 ||

There was a sovereign, born of the imperial line of Ixaku, by name of Mukunda-ratha, who had subjugated the earth under his arms.
