The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.37.19

गुर्जरानीकनाशेन गुर्जरीकेशलुञ्चनम् ।
विहितं तङ्गणोत्तुङ्गनासिशङ्कुशतै रणे ॥ १९ ॥

gurjarānīkanāśena gurjarīkeśaluñcanam |
vihitaṃ taṅgaṇottuṅganāsiśaṅkuśatai raṇe || 19 ||

The lifted swords and pikes of the Tongas (Tonguise), destroyed the Gurjara (Guzrati) force by hundreds, and these like razors balded the heads (i. e. made widows) of hundreds of Gurjara women.
