The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.16.41

इत्याकर्ण्य जगन्माता तवास्त्वेवमिति स्वयम् ।
उक्त्वान्तर्धानमगमत्प्रोत्थायोर्मिरिवार्णवे ॥ ४१ ॥

ityākarṇya jaganmātā tavāstvevamiti svayam |
uktvāntardhānamagamatprotthāyormirivārṇave || 41 ||

Hearing this, the goddess said, "Be it so;" and immediately disappeared in the air (whence she came); as the wave subsides in the sea whence it rises to view.
