The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यस्मिञ्जगत्प्रस्फुरति दृष्टमौक्तिकहंसवत् ।
यश्चेदं यश्च नैवेदं देवः सदसदात्मकः ॥ ५१ ॥

yasmiñjagatprasphurati dṛṣṭamauktikahaṃsavat |
yaścedaṃ yaśca naivedaṃ devaḥ sadasadātmakaḥ || 51 ||

In him this world is manifest as a pearly goose in painting; He is and yet is not this (creation), and is the soul of both what is real as well as unreal.
