संकल्प एष कचति यथा नाम स्वयंभुवः ।
व्योमात्मैष तथा भाति भवत्संकल्पशैलवत् ॥ २१ ॥

saṃkalpa eṣa kacati yathā nāma svayaṃbhuvaḥ |
vyomātmaiṣa tathā bhāti bhavatsaṃkalpaśailavat || 21 ||

It is his volition that makes the self-born (Brahma) to exert his energies, as human desires impel all mankind to action: and the vacuous mind manifests itself as a mountain of desires.
