The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हार्दान्धकारकारिण्या भैरवाकारवानपि ।
यौवनाज्ञानयामिन्या बिभेति भगवानपि ॥ १५ ॥

hārdāndhakārakāriṇyā bhairavākāravānapi |
yauvanājñānayāminyā bibheti bhagavānapi || 15 ||

Puberty advances as a dark night spreading the shadow of destruction. It darkens the heart and mind by its hedious appearance, and intimidates even the god.
