The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इषुप्रपातमात्रं हि सुखदं दुःखभासुरम् ।
दाहपोषप्रदं नित्यं यौवनं मे न रोचते ॥ १२ ॥

iṣuprapātamātraṃ hi sukhadaṃ duḥkhabhāsuram |
dāhapoṣapradaṃ nityaṃ yauvanaṃ me na rocate || 12 ||

Youth as an arrow shot is pleasant to see, but painful to feel its smart. Hence I do not like youth that produces blood heat.
