The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मिथ्यैव स्फाररूपेण विचाराद्विशरारुणा ।
बालो वेतालकेनेव गृहीतोऽस्मि कुचेतसा ॥ २० ॥

mithyaiva sphārarūpeṇa vicārādviśarāruṇā |
bālo vetālakeneva gṛhīto'smi kucetasā || 20 ||

As a child is seized by the false apparition of a demon, so I find myself in the grasp of my wicked mind, representing falsities as true.
