The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.11.27

शत्रुघ्नं लक्ष्मणं चैव तथैव परवीरहा ।
आलिलिङ्ग घनस्नेहो राजहंसोऽम्बुजे यथा ॥ २७ ॥

śatrughnaṃ lakṣmaṇaṃ caiva tathaiva paravīrahā |
āliliṅga ghanasneho rājahaṃso'mbuje yathā || 27 ||

At the same time, he the destroyer of his enemies, embraced Lakshmana and Satrughna, with as intense an affection as the swan embracing the lotus flowers.
