The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न प्रोक्तमाकर्णयति ईक्षते न पुरोगतम् ।
करोत्यवज्ञां सर्वत्र सुसमेत्यापि वस्तुनि ॥ ३४ ॥

na proktamākarṇayati īkṣate na purogatam |
karotyavajñāṃ sarvatra susametyāpi vastuni || 34 ||

He does not pay heed to what is said to him, nor does he look at any thing presented before him. He hates to look upon things even the most charming.
