The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रृणु राजन्प्रवक्ष्यामि रामायणमखण्डितम् ।
श्रुत्वावधार्य यत्नेन जीवन्मुक्तो भविष्यसि ॥ ५२ ॥

śrṛṇu rājanpravakṣyāmi rāmāyaṇamakhaṇḍitam |
śrutvāvadhārya yatnena jīvanmukto bhaviṣyasi || 52 ||
Valmiki said:—Hear me Oh king! I will relate to you the entire Ramayana, by the hearing and understanding of which you will be saved even while in this life.
