The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.9.22; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

वृद्धा, यथा —
कज्जलेन कृत-केश-कालिमा
बिल्व-युग्म-रचितोन्नत-स्तनी ।
पश्य गौरि किरती दृग्-अञ्चलं
स्मेरयत्य् अघहरं जरत्य् असौ ॥४.९.२२॥

vṛddhā, yathā —
kajjalena kṛta-keśa-kālimā
bilva-yugma-racitonnata-stanī |
paśya gauri kiratī dṛg-añcalaṃ
smerayaty aghaharaṃ jaraty asau
||4.9.22||

English translation

Old women:
“Look, Rādhā! This old woman has dyed her hair black using kajjala and has raised her breasts by inserting bilva fruit in her bodice. She makes Kṛṣṇa smile as she throws amorous glances at Him.”
