The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.5.30; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा श्री-गीत-गोविन्दे (२.१) —
विहरति वने राधा साधारण-प्रणये हरौ
विगलित-निजोत्कर्षाद् ईऋस्या-वशेन गतान्यतः ।
क्वचिद् अपि लता-कुञ्जे गुञ्जन्-मधु-व्रत-मण्डली-
मुखर-निखरे लीना दीनाप्य् उवाच रहः सखीम् ॥३.५.३०॥

yathā śrī-gīta-govinde (2.1) —
viharati vane rādhā sādhāraṇa-praṇaye harau
vigalita-nijotkarṣād īṛsyā-vaśena gatānyataḥ |
kvacid api latā-kuñje guñjan-madhu-vrata-maṇḍalī-
mukhara-nikhare līnā dīnāpy uvāca rahaḥ sakhīm
||3.5.30||

English translation

An example from Gīta-govinda [2.1]:
“When Kṛṣṇa was sporing with all the gopīs in the forest, treating them all with equal affection, Rādhā left that place in anger because of His slighting Her superior position. Later, while hiding in a grove of creepers while bees were buzzing overhead, She spoke to a friend in private of Her grief-stricken state.”
