The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.15; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

सख्यं, यथा —
पर्यङ्के महति सुरारि-हन्तुर् अङ्के
निःशङ्क-प्रणय-निसृष्ट-पूर्व-कायः ।
उन्मीलन्-नव-नर्म-कर्मठो’यं
गाण्डीवी स्मित-वदनाम्बुजो व्यराजीत् ॥३.३.१५॥

sakhyaṃ, yathā —
paryaṅke mahati surāri-hantur aṅke
niḥśaṅka-praṇaya-nisṛṣṭa-pūrva-kāyaḥ |
unmīlan-nava-narma-karmaṭho’yaṃ
gāṇḍīvī smita-vadanāmbujo vyarājīt
||3.3.15||

English translation

Arjuna’s friendship:
“Arjuna, with smiling face, looked splendid as he sat on the same large seat as
Kṛṣṇa, placing his head on His bosom in affection without fear, expertly joking in original ways.”
