The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.1.36; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र आद्या, यथा —
समाधौ योगिनस् तस्मिन्न् असम्प्रज्ञात-नामनि ।
लीलया मयि लब्धे’स्य बभूवोत्कम्पिनी तनुः ॥३.१.३६॥

tatra ādyā, yathā —
samādhau yoginas tasminn asamprajñāta-nāmani |
līlayā mayi labdhe’sya babhūvotkampinī tanuḥ ||3.1.36||

English translation

Sama-śānta-rati:
“When I playfully revealed Myself to the yogī absorbed in asamprajñāta-samādhi, his body began to shake to the extreme.”
