इ॒मा अ॑स्मै म॒तयो॒ वाचो॑ अ॒स्मदाँ ऋचो॒ गिर॑: सुष्टु॒तय॒: सम॑ग्मत । व॒सू॒यवो॒ वस॑वे जा॒तवे॑दसे वृ॒द्धासु॑ चि॒द्वर्ध॑नो॒ यासु॑ चा॒कन॑त् ॥
इमा अस्मै मतयो वाचो अस्मदाँ ऋचो गिरः सुष्टुतयः समग्मत । वसूयवो वसवे जातवेदसे वृद्धासु चिद्वर्धनो यासु चाकनत् ॥
imā asmai matayo vāco asmad ām̐ ṛco giraḥ suṣṭutayaḥ sam agmata | vasūyavo vasave jātavedase vṛddhāsu cid vardhano yāsu cākanat ||

English translation:

“May these laudatory words, these eulogistic verses, these voices (proceeding) from us, reach him thegiver of wealth, Jātavedas; these wealth- desiring (words) in which when they are perfected, the perfecterdelights.”
