बळि॒त्था म॑हि॒मा वा॒मिन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ पनि॑ष्ठ॒ आ । स॒मा॒नो वां॑ जनि॒ता भ्रात॑रा यु॒वं य॒मावि॒हेह॑मातरा ॥
बळित्था महिमा वामिन्द्राग्नी पनिष्ठ आ । समानो वां जनिता भ्रातरा युवं यमाविहेहमातरा ॥
baḻ itthā mahimā vām indrāgnī paniṣṭha ā | samāno vāṃ janitā bhrātarā yuvaṃ yamāv ihehamātarā ||
English translation:
“Your greatness, Indra and Agni, is after this fashion, and is most deserving of praise; the same is your progenitor; twin brethren are you, having a mother everywhere present.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Ihehamātarau, of whom the mother is here and there; Aditi is their mother, in common with all the gods, and she is here identified with he wide extended earth, vistīrṇa bhūmiḥ
