Rig Veda 6.1.5

त्वां व॑र्धन्ति क्षि॒तय॑: पृथि॒व्यां त्वां राय॑ उ॒भया॑सो॒ जना॑नाम् । त्वं त्रा॒ता त॑रणे॒ चेत्यो॑ भूः पि॒ता मा॒ता सद॒मिन्मानु॑षाणाम् ॥
त्वां वर्धन्ति क्षितयः पृथिव्यां त्वां राय उभयासो जनानाम् । त्वं त्राता तरणे चेत्यो भूः पिता माता सदमिन्मानुषाणाम् ॥
tvāṃ vardhanti kṣitayaḥ pṛthivyāṃ tvāṃ rāya ubhayāso janānām | tvaṃ trātā taraṇe cetyo bhūḥ pitā mātā sadam in mānuṣāṇām ||

English translation:

“Men exalt you upon earth; they exalt you for both kinds of affluence, (cattle and treasure, which you bestow upon) men; you who extricate (us from evil) are to be known as our preserver, as the unfailing father and mother of mankind.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Which you bestow upon, men: janānām may also mean, for the gift of men, that is, of male posterity
