हृ॒णी॒यमा॑नो॒ अप॒ हि मदैये॒: प्र मे॑ दे॒वानां॑ व्रत॒पा उ॑वाच । इन्द्रो॑ वि॒द्वाँ अनु॒ हि त्वा॑ च॒चक्ष॒ तेना॒हम॑ग्ने॒ अनु॑शिष्ट॒ आगा॑म् ॥
हृणीयमानो अप हि मदैयेः प्र मे देवानां व्रतपा उवाच । इन्द्रो विद्वाँ अनु हि त्वा चचक्ष तेनाहमग्ने अनुशिष्ट आगाम् ॥
hṛṇīyamāno apa hi mad aiyeḥ pra me devānāṃ vratapā uvāca | indro vidvām̐ anu hi tvā cacakṣa tenāham agne anuśiṣṭa āgām ||
English translation:
“When angered, (Agni), depart from me; the protector of the worship of the gods, (Indra), has spoken to me; the wise Indra has looked upon you, and instrumental ucted by him, I have come, Agni, to you.”
