Rig Veda 2.11.10

अरो॑रवी॒द्वृष्णो॑ अस्य॒ वज्रोऽमा॑नुषं॒ यन्मानु॑षो नि॒जूर्वा॑त् । नि मा॒यिनो॑ दान॒वस्य॑ मा॒या अपा॑दयत्पपि॒वान्त्सु॒तस्य॑ ॥
अरोरवीद्वृष्णो अस्य वज्रोऽमानुषं यन्मानुषो निजूर्वात् । नि मायिनो दानवस्य माया अपादयत्पपिवान्त्सुतस्य ॥
aroravīd vṛṣṇo asya vajro 'mānuṣaṃ yan mānuṣo nijūrvāt | ni māyino dānavasya māyā apādayat papivān sutasya ||
English translation:
“The thunderbolt of the showerer roared aloud, when (Indra), the friend of man, sought to slay the enemy of mankind. Drinking the Soma, he (Indra), baffled the devices of the guileful Dānava.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
The friend of man sought to: amānuṣam yan mānuṣo nijūrvāt, when the man, or the benefactor of man, manuṣyāṇām hitakārī, destroyed the no-man (manuṣyāṇam rahitam); i.e. the manuṣyāṇām ahitam, not friendly to man
