नरा॒शंसं॑ वा॒जिनं॑ वा॒जय॑न्नि॒ह क्ष॒यद्वी॑रं पू॒षणं॑ सु॒म्नैरी॑महे । रथं॒ न दु॒र्गाद्व॑सवः सुदानवो॒ विश्व॑स्मान्नो॒ अंह॑सो॒ निष्पि॑पर्तन ॥
नराशंसं वाजिनं वाजयन्निह क्षयद्वीरं पूषणं सुम्नैरीमहे । रथं न दुर्गाद्वसवः सुदानवो विश्वस्मान्नो अंहसो निष्पिपर्तन ॥
narāśaṃsaṃ vājinaṃ vājayann iha kṣayadvīram pūṣaṇaṃ sumnair īmahe | rathaṃ na durgād vasavaḥ sudānavo viśvasmān no aṃhaso niṣ pipartana ||
English translation:
“Exciting him who is the praised of men and the giver of food, (to be present) at this rite, we solicit (also) with our praises him who is the purifier and destroyer of heroes; may they, who are bountiful and the givers of food, extricate us from sun, as a chariot from a defile”
