Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. अज्ञायमानापि सती सुखमस्म्युषितेह वै ।
सर्वकामैः सुविहिता रक्ष्यमाणा सदा त्वया ॥ १६ ॥

ajñāyamānāpi satī sukhamasmyuṣiteha vai |
sarvakāmaiḥ suvihitā rakṣyamāṇā sadā tvayā || 16 ||
