Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. दन्तांस्तालु च जिह्वां च गलं ग्रीवां तथैव च ।
हृदयं चिन्तयेच्चापि तथा हृदयबन्धनम् ॥ ३५ ॥

dantāṃstālu ca jihvāṃ ca galaṃ grīvāṃ tathaiva ca |
