The Garga-samhita Verse 5.20.10, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 20 (The Liberation of Ribhu Muni During the Rasa-dance Festival) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

प्रसन्ना तत्र शृङ्गारं
अकरोत् कीर्ति-नन्दिनी
तया नो ऽकारि शृङ्गारः
पन्थे कृष्णे गते सति

prasannā tatra śṛṅgāraṃ
akarot kīrti-nandinī
tayā no 'kāri śṛṅgāraḥ
panthe kṛṣṇe gate sati

prasannāpleased; tatra—there; śṛṅgāram—decoration; akarot—did; kīrti-nandinīRādhā; tayāby Her; naḥ—not; akāri—did; śṛṅgāraḥdecoration; panthe—on the path; kṛṣṇe—when Kṛṣṇa; gate satiwent.

English translation of verse 5.20.10:

Śrī Rādhā, the daughter of Kīrti-devī, was very happy. She had nicely decorated Herself. She had not decorated Herself since Kṛṣṇa left, traveling on the road to Mathurā.
