श्री-नरद उवच
अथ दूतः सिन्धु-देशन्
मथुरन् पुनर् अगतः
चरन् वृन्दवने कृष्ण-
तीरे कृष्णं ददर्श ह
śrī-narada uvaca
atha dūtaḥ sindhu-deśan
mathuran punar agataḥ
caran vṛndavane kṛṣṇa-
tīre kṛṣṇaṃ dadarśa ha
śrī-narada uvaca—Srī Narada said; atha—then; dūtaḥ—the messenger; sindhu-deśan—to Sindu-desa; mathuran—to Mathura; punaḥ—again; agataḥ—came; caran—walking; vṛndavane—in Vṛndavana; kṛṣṇa-tīre—by the Yamuna's shore; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; dadarśa—saw; ha—indeed.
English translation of verse 4.7.1:
Srī Narada said: The messenger traveled from Sindhu-deśa to the province of Mathura. Walking by the Yamuna's shore in Vṛndavana, he saw Kṛṣṇa.
