The Garga-samhita Verse 4.7.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 7 (The Story of the Ayodhya Women) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

श्री-नरद उवच
अथ दूतः सिन्धु-देशन्
मथुरन् पुनर् अगतः
चरन् वृन्दवने कृष्ण-
तीरे कृष्णं ददर्श ह

śrī-narada uvaca
atha dūtaḥ sindhu-deśan
mathuran punar agataḥ
caran vṛndavane kṛṣṇa-
tīre kṛṣṇaṃ dadarśa ha

śrī-narada uvaca—Srī Narada said; athathen; dūtaḥthe messenger; sindhu-deśan—to Sindu-desa; mathuran—to Mathura; punaḥ—again; agataḥcame; caran—walking; vṛndavane—in Vṛndavana; kṛṣṇa-tīre—by the Yamuna's shore; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; dadarśa—saw; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 4.7.1:

Srī Narada said: The messenger traveled from Sindhu-deśa to the province of Mathura. Walking by the Yamuna's shore in Vṛndavana, he saw Kṛṣṇa.
