शङ्कागतास् तत्र सखी-गणास् त्वरं
सु-वीजयन्त्यौ व्यजनैर् व्यवस्थिताः
श्रीखण्ड-पुष्प-द्रव-चर्चितांशुकां
जगाद राधां नृप गोपदेवता
śaṅkāgatās tatra sakhī-gaṇās tvaraṃ
su-vījayantyau vyajanair vyavasthitāḥ
śrīkhaṇḍa-puṣpa-drava-carcitāṃśukāṃ
jagāda rādhāṃ nṛpa gopadevatā
śaṅkāgatāḥ—worried; tatra—there; sakhī-gaṇāḥ—friends; tvaram—quickly; su-vījayantyau—fanning; vyajanaiḥ—with fans; vyavasthitāḥ—arranged; śrīkhaṇḍa—sandal; puṣpa—flower; drava—liquid; carcita—anointed; aṃśukām—garments; jagāda—spoke; rādhām—to Rādhā; nṛpa—O king; gopadevatā—Gopadevatā.
English translation of verse 2.17.39:
O king, Her worried friends quickly came and fanned Her with many fans.
Then Gopadevatā spoke to Rādhā, whose garments were anointed with sandal paste and the nectar of flowers.
