The Garga-samhita Verse 2.17.39, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 17 (The Meeting of Shri Radha-Krishna) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

शङ्कागतास् तत्र सखी-गणास् त्वरं
सु-वीजयन्त्यौ व्यजनैर् व्यवस्थिताः
श्रीखण्ड-पुष्प-द्रव-चर्चितांशुकां
जगाद राधां नृप गोपदेवता

śaṅkāgatās tatra sakhī-gaṇās tvaraṃ
su-vījayantyau vyajanair vyavasthitāḥ
śrīkhaṇḍa-puṣpa-drava-carcitāṃśukāṃ
jagāda rādhāṃ nṛpa gopadevatā

śaṅkāgatāḥ—worried; tatra—there; sakhī-gaṇāḥfriends; tvaram—quickly; su-vījayantyau—fanning; vyajanaiḥ—with fans; vyavasthitāḥ—arranged; śrīkhaṇḍasandal; puṣpaflower; dravaliquid; carcitaanointed; aṃśukām—garments; jagāda—spoke; rādhām—to Rādhā; nṛpaO king; gopadevatā—Gopadevatā.

English translation of verse 2.17.39:

O king, Her worried friends quickly came and fanned Her with many fans.

Then Gopadevatā spoke to Rādhā, whose garments were anointed with sandal paste and the nectar of flowers.
