The Garga-samhita Verse 2.17.38, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 17 (The Meeting of Shri Radha-Krishna) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
श्रुत्वा वचस् तस्य तु तद् व्रजेश्वरी
निक्षिप्य सद्यो नयनाम्बु-सन्ततिम्
रोमाञ्च-हर्षोद्गम-भाव-सम्वृता
रम्भेव भूमौ पतिता मरुद्-धता

śrī-nārada uvāca
śrutvā vacas tasya tu tad vrajeśvarī
nikṣipya sadyo nayanāmbu-santatim
romāñca-harṣodgama-bhāva-samvṛtā
rambheva bhūmau patitā marud-dhatā

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; śrutvāhearing; vacaḥwords; tasya—of Him; tu—indeed; tat—that; vrajeśvarī—the queen of Vraja; nikṣipya—casting; sadyaḥat once; nayanāmbu-santatim—tears fgrom the eyes; romāñca-harṣodgama-bhāva-samvṛtā—hairs standing erect; rambhāa banana tree; iva—like; bhūmau—to the ground; patitāfell; marut-hatāstruck by the wind.

English translation of verse 2.17.38:

Śrī Nārada said: Hearing His words, Rādhā, the queen of Vraja began to weep.

The hairs of her body erect, She fell to the ground like a banana tree struck by the wind.
