राधां कमल-लोचनाम्
गिरा मधुरया राजन्
प्राहेदं गोपदेवता

kalā-kauśala-sampannāṃ
rādhāṃ kamala-locanām
girā madhurayā rājan
prāhedaṃ gopadevatā

kalāin art; kauśalawioth expertise; sampannām—endowed; rādhām—Rādhā; kamala-locanām—lotus-eyed; girāwith words; madhurayā—sweet; rājanO king; prāha—said; idam—this; gopadevatā—Gopadevatā.

English translation of verse 2.17.36:

With sweet words Gopadevatā spoke to lotus-eyed, artistic Rādhā.
