The Garga-samhita Verse 2.14.29, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 14 (Description of Kaliya’s Story) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-शेष उवाच
तद्-दिनात् तत्र नायाति
गरुडः शाप-विह्वलः
तस्मात् कालिय गच्छाशु
वृन्दारण्ये हरेर् वने

śrī-śeṣa uvāca
tad-dināt tatra nāyāti
garuḍaḥ śāpa-vihvalaḥ
tasmāt kāliya gacchāśu
vṛndāraṇye harer vane

śrī-śeṣaḥ uvāca—Śrī Śeśa said; tad-dināt—from that day; tatra—there; na—not; āyāticomes; garuḍaḥGaruḍa; śāpabecause of the curse; vihvalaḥ—agitated; tasmāt—therefore; kāliyaO Kaliya; gacchago; āśu—at once; vṛndāraṇye—to Vṛndāvana; hareḥ—of Lord Kṛṣṇa; vane—the forest.

English translation of verse 2.14.29:

Śrī Śeṣa said: Afraid of the curse, from that day on Garuḍa has not come there.

O Kāliya, for that reason you should go at once to Lord Kṛṣṇa's forest of Vṛndāvana.
