1. Female magician; witch, sorceress; மந்திரவாதஞ் செய்ப வள். [manthiravathagn seypa val.] (W.)
2. A class of female attendants on Durgā; காளிக்கு ஏவல்செய் மகளிர்வகை. வீர யோகினி வெள்ளமோடு [kalikku evalsey magalirvagai. vira yogini vellamodu] (பிரபுலிங்கலீலை கைலாச. [pirapulingalilai kailasa.] 42).
3. Fairy; தெய்வப்பெண். நிலையென்னும் யோகினி மட வராலும் [theyvappen. nilaiyennum yogini mada varalum] (திருக்காளத். பு. விசிட்டத். [thirukkalath. pu. visittath.] 28).
4. Kāḷi; காளி. இத்திறம் யோகினி யிசைத்து [kali. ithiram yogini yisaithu] (கந்தபு. அக்கினிமுகா. [kanthapu. akkinimuga.] 132).
