1. Purging, evacuation of bowels; மலங்கழிகை. கடுக்காய்கள் விரேசனத்தைப் பண்ணும் [malangazhigai. kadukkaykal viresanathaip pannum] (ஞானவாசிட்டம் சிகித். [gnanavasittam sigith.] 49).
2. Purgative; பேதிமருந்து. [pethimarunthu.] (W.)
